AR Assisted Living 1 & 11 Administrator Certification

Assisted Living Certification- In order to insure minimum standards for facilities, a certificate of 28 hours training is required to become an administrator. Upon meeting these regulations, each year thereafter a re-certification of 8 hours training is required. The training shall include but not be limited to regulatory management; management practices and operations; human resource (personnel) management; and resident care and services. These training areas include tasks, knowledge and skills for a person to be a facility administrator.

Certificate of Training Required And Suggested Time Frame To Complete Course

In order to further ensure minimum standards for facilities, a certificate of training is required to become an administrator and upon meeting these regulations through a certification program, each administrator will need re-certification to maintain their administrator certificate. The re-certification is annual with 8 hours of training.The training shall include but not limited to administration supervision, human resource management and resident care. In order to meet the re-certification regulatory requirement, courses are designed as "critical issues in residential care". Each issue area includes tasks, knowledge and skills for an administrator to more effectively perform their job responsibilities. Module 1: Stress Management( 2 weeks) Module 11:Time Management( 2 weeks) We recognize that as Administrators we have very busy professional and personal schedules. However, we encourage you to stay within these guidelines so as not to fall behind on required assignments. But these time frames are only suggested guidelines. Should changes be necessary, please advise the instructor.

AR Residential Care Administrator Certification

Residential Care Administrator Certification- Residential Care Certification- In order to insure minimum standards for facilities, a certificate of 24 hours training is required to become an administrator. Upon meeting these regulations, each year thereafter a re-certification of 8 hours training is required. The training shall include but not be limited to regulatory management; management practices and operations; human resource (personnel) management; and resident care and services. These training areas include tasks, knowledge and skills for a person to be a facility administrator
